how to find local jazz communities?

i'm 18 and just graduated high school and am going directly into the work force (automotive) and i've noticed that i have no social circle right now and feel lonely.
I love playing and listening to jazz music and i have for years, i'm wondering how i could find local jazz communities to be a part of.
I'm not quite good enough to play live music yet so i couldn't really be a part of a community on the musician side but i'd love to find a group of people who go to see live jazz in clubs and such in person.
i live in northern virginia pretty close to DC so i'm able to see live jazz pretty locally (i saw sungazer a few years ago in DC and it was amazing) I'm more into fusion/modern jazz but any kind of jazz is always amazing especially in person.

if anyone knows how to find jazz communities in the DC area let me know!

what do you guys think about a look like this on my obs?

lately i've been wanting to do some fun stuff with my truck, it has mismatched tires and (imo) ugly rims and lately ive been loving what i see on a lot of old toyotas whete they have skinnier black steel rims with fat tires stretched out like donuts with a chrome center cap (pic 2) and i'd love that look on my truck.
i've also seen some pics of older trucks with these soft canopy's (pic 1) that i think would look great on mine, i'd also love some gutter mounted roof rails and fishing rod holders (also pic 1) since i've actually had trouble finding spots to put rods on this truck before
only issue is i love carrying a canoe on my truck and i'm sure the canopy frame wouldn't be able to support that so i'd need to find some way to build or figure out some kind of support bar for the canoe to go over the canopy

any thoughts? hoping i can get most of this stuff used for cheap but i'm sure stuff that the canopy will be expensive no matter what anyone know any canopy's that fit obs rangers?
