Does your semi auto Uzi cycle properly by hand? Do your rounds eject properly? I have noticed when hand cycling the rounds do not eject out of the gun - they are pulled out of the chamber then I have to jiggle them out.

I recently picked this up from a local forum for 800. Am wondering if anyone can give me a bit of information as to what I purchased - I see it says McKay on the receiver. It looked completely unfired inside when I purchased it. It would not run more than 2-3 rounds before a malfunction. I have since taken a mallet and my feeler gauges and adjusted the top cover gap as it was touching the bolt and now it runs through a mag or two between malfunctions
What do these go for nowadays? I’ve already gotten it sbrd and ordered a shorter barrel as I plan to keep it even if just as a display piece am just curious
Had a fun time getting this to run today - had to replace the bolt supplied by DFA with one of mine which fixed the fte I was experiencing and once it started running it would double and triple - I think it was slam firing as it stopped when I went to the weaker recoil spring. Now that it’s running I absolutely love it. It is hilariously loud unsuppressed and kicks like a hammer with the hot sig 125gr supers. Also fits in a standard backpack without the suppressor

Hello friends. I have some knowledge of AKs but absolutely none of the SKS platform
After fondling it for roughly 10 seconds I purchased this one from my coworker for 300 dollars
After the purchase I spent 20 minutes wondering why the fuck I couldn't identify it while browsing through the Chinese SKS ID posts I've come to the conclusion it is a newer commercial model as I had completely glazed over the not remotely threaded muzzle and lack of bayonet mounting ability.
I don't even know if it's Chinese. I'm assuming it is. Anyone able to help. Am I correct in my assumption. The guy that I purchased it from had never shot it and had no clue where it came from. Is there such a thing as pot metal trash SKS that blows up in your face the same way century arms AKs do it am I safe
