Vacation question

I am vacationing in Maine for the first time in Portland. we are renting a car and will be bringing a preschool aged child. would love to take her to the beach. we’d be going on a weekday end of August. what is the best option if you want to prioritize a drive and parking that isn’t too tricky or high traffic and a beach where there is not an elevated lyme risk- looking for walkways that aren’t covered in grass that you have to pass through to get to the beach.

Kristin needs to better articulate herself

Because Danny and Nia are showing up so poorly and Kristin is defending them, it’s making us forget Kristin has valid reasons for not liking Janet and not trusting her. Kristin is also not reminding us of Janet’s specific season 1 actions and instead just name calls which is making her look petty without reason. If she simply recounted season 1 events where Janet was not inviting her to events (with the intention of getting Kristin less screen time and off the show) we’d all remember why Kristin shouldn’t trust her or resume the friendship. To be clear, I don’t think Janet is a bad friend to all or a bad person but she is not somebody that Kristin should specifically trust.

Was this considered moderate turbulence?

I took a flight during a very windy day. I heard rumors telephone poles were knocked down but not sure if that was true. during the flight the pilot warned of turbulence where everyone needed to take their seats. they said that during descent we’d all be responsible for doing our own safety checks and making sure the cabin was secure for landings because it was bad enough where attendants needed to be seated and couldn’t perform this. we felt the plane drop a startling amount a few times. during the drops at least half the passengers screamed. I’d say literally everybody was reacting in some way because it was clearly intense and you could feel the drops. Some passengers laughed nervously after they screamed because we all knew the pilot had control and planes were built to withstand this but it was scary and jarring. Since then I really am nervous about repeating this level of turbulence. i am curious if this would be considered moderate turbulence or bordering moderate/severe. Nobody was hurt and we were all buckled so didn’t lift up off our seats but it was jarring that flight attendants were told to skip Safety checks and securing the cabin before landing. how often does this level of turbulence happen?
