I don't know if this is a dumb question or if it's been answered before or if I missed something but I was curious why the COI lied to Simon and said that no one had been down in the SM13 before like I know they probably didn't know the guy before him had left the note and the seed so he would find out but I don't understand the point in not just saying something like "you're the second test, I hope the same thing happens to you as the last guy that went down", I know it makes sense from a story point of view to make Simon distrustful I'm just confused about it from a motivation point of view

(I apologise if this is a stupid question, I also have autism and struggle with understanding character motivations as well)

I want to make a playlist around Angela but so far I've only got "angel" by Damiano David (my thinking was it could sort of be how she sees Sera or vice versa) but I'd love to hear other people's thoughts
