keloid treatment
i got this scar on my knee about 2 and a half months ago, and the dermatologist i went to recommended steroid injections (3 times 6 weeks apart) but i will be moving away in 6 weeks so couldnt start that process. It is very puffy from the side and im quite self conscious about it and my family has made comments about it. im planning to do the injections when i settle in to my new area, but in the next month and a half, ive been looking into treatments like silicon gel sheets, and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations/advice? im mostly concerned with trying to flatten it out 😓😓

how difficult is it to do well at rice?
pretty much the title, but just speaking generally, how is rice's academic culture? is it really difficult and super competitive to the point of it being quite overwhelming, or is it rigorous but manageable? my parents seem to think it will incredibly hard and it has made me a bit stressed out, so now i'm worried.
