I played this game for the first time in like 10 years
This was my final team for beating Red :)

I recently figured that I should get my new 3ds xl backplate replaced. The reason for this was that part of the backplate broke off and now I'm missing a spare screw. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement backplate? I have tried a couple but none of them fit right. They never seem to properly snap into place like the original.
I thought the game was fantastic! I feel like they did a good job with giving Psaro an actual backstory, rather than having him just be evil for the sake of it. I thought his fight was great and the secret bosses were crazy difficult (although that may just be due to me not wanting to grind anymore).
I loved how every character finally had their own story and their own reason to join. It really made the party feel like an actual team.
My updated preference for the games so far:
DQ1 (SNES fan-translation), DQ2 (SNES fan-translation), DQ3 (SNES fan-translation), DQ9, and DQ4. I wasn't expecting to like this game more than DQ9 but it was just so much fun!
I can't wait to play DQ5!
I played DQ9 growing up and then played DQ11 when it came out on the Switch. Since then, I have been curious about the series and wanted to try playing them all.
I played 1, 2, and 3 on the SNES remakes. It is amazing just how much the games were able to increase in quality in that short time.
DQ1 had that NES feeling (even on the SNES version). I could tell that a lot of the play time was supposed to go to figuring out puzzles. I thought it was a game that was enjoyable (assuming it is looked at as the first real home console turn-based RPG.
DQ2 made DQ1 look like a demo. I loved how big it was and had a great time throughout (until the end-game grind). I could see the puzzle pieces falling into place.
I just finished DQ3 (including the secret Xenlong boss). This game feels like what an RPG is supposed to be. Everything felt great. I used a walkthrough minimally, didn't grind nearly as much as the other games, and could see just how much love was put into it. It felt like a game that you would give someone if they asked, "What is an RPG?"
I'm playing the next 3 games on the DS and am so excited. The only things I know about them is that they are the "Zenithian trilogy" (they are mostly disconnected from each other, I think), DQ5 is apparently crazy good (and you play as a mage), and I will be going into DQ6 100% blind.
