Talking to Urologist about starting Trimix - question about the mixture

I contacted my Uro today about how to get started with injections.

He said the normal Trimix he starts with has 10 mcg/mL and people usually start at 0.2 mL which is 2 mcg of prostaglandin.

4yrs ago I had a doppler test where they used an injection of 4.0 micrograms of prostaglandin E-1 using the Edex preparation.

The erection I had during that test was amazing and reminds me of what most guys here describe when using Trimix. It was actually a bit painful but not enough limit the erection. And it probably lasted almost an hour.

Does the mix my Uro usually starts with make sense? I asked him if I could just use what they used during the doppler test and he said his mix shouldn't cause a painful erection since it's half as much prostaglandin mixed with 2 other ingredients.

The mix ratios and ingredients are all still greek to me.

Good resources to learn about injection options?

I spoke with a urologist this week regarding my ED. I initially just wanted a 2nd opinion about my TRT protocol, but ED came up, so we dug into that as well. For reference, I'm almost 55 and I've seen a gradual decline in erectile function over the past 7 years. It's dropped off much more in the past year or so. I'm divorced and my last relationship ended 1.5yrs ago.

Pills have mostly stopped working so he recommended injections next. I plan to ask my regular Urologist about it but I also like to do my own research.

Any recommended resources that are good for beginners? I'm used to giving myself injections, just not in my penis.

Several years ago I had a venous leakage study done and the Dr said he used 1 ingredient (not bi or tri mix) and only about half the regular dose. Whatever it was, it worked amazingly well. Solid erection for an hour before it very slowly went down. That injection alone would do well for most of my sex encounters (based on history). It was almost a bit painful for an erection.

I'm trying to see the bright of being here now instead of being upset that it's come to this. Hopefully it's something that future partners are willing to accept or I guess they won't be partners.
