Looking to join the Union, just don’t know where to start

As the title says I’m looking to join the Union but have no idea where to start..

I’m 25 years old, and currently in Telecommunications, wanting to branch out and do something new, and I’ve always been interested in carpentry work,

I’m currently in Florida But am looking to go north to the Michigan area, would it be wise for me to attempt to join the union here and try to transfer? Or would it be easier to apply there and see what happens?

I have 0 experience with the line of work, but have always worked Manual jobs, (Roofing and telecommunications) so I don’t believe I’d have any transferable skills, how would that affect my chances of being accepted, if it does at all? And how does the process work? I’ve read that there’s “Pre-apprenticeship” and “Apprenticeship” but can’t seem to find what the difference is between the two.

Also, for anyone else around the same age range who decided to change paths in life, how did you get past the feeling that you may fail and it may not work out?

Thank you everyone in advance.

Looking to upgrade my monitor, not very good with figuring out what’s good/ bad.

Current monitor is- MSI 31.5" Curved FHD (1920x1080) HDMI DP 165Hz 1ms FreeSync LCD Gaming Monitor - Optix G32C4W

I’m looking for a 32’ curved monitor, with an upgraded quality feel, all the colors feel washed on my current one and it’s definitely time for an upgrade. Not looking for top of the top, just something that the colors will pop a little more and display some more detail

(Preferably with a V-Shaped stand to fit desk arrangement), not looking to spend an arm and a leg, and am terrible with all the different selections of monitors, so I figured I’d ask here where people will more knowledge may be able to help, thank you in advanced.

As the title says I’m looking to upgrade my current monitor, to an OLED. I mainly play FPS games and MMOs, and would like a more vibrant color without breaking the Bank, any suggestions on a good OLED replacement? Looking for around 32” inches , I see MSI- Mag 321CUP QD-OLED is on sale currently but unsure if they’re any good, any ideas?
