I was inspired by u/Sensitive-Tap-9005 's collab roulette post to make this.

Kanji could feel the end coming, she knows that. She doesn't even trust the Mageu at all, the moment she arrives Kanji feels like she gonna get attacked.

*Just Breathe, and focus on getting there.* Kanji thought to herself. Taking each step up the mountain path one at a time.

About halfway there she sees fox statues dotting the path, and realizes she remembers this place. *This reminds me of the nightmares that plauged me...* Kanji thought. She prepares her magic slowly, hiding it while continuing the climb. *no point trying to make sense of it all*

The climb continued, the path starting to really remind her of the nightmares she had, she continued collecting magic. By the time she made it up to the peak, she was already holding about seven/ninths of her magic and was starting on the eighth. She steps onto the platform, and walks towards the middle slowly.

*Don't panic, don't panic* She thought as the wisps of smoke start seeping through the cracks. *Stall for time.* Kanji kept walking, kept moving, kept charging her magic as she continued.

It was by the time she reached the middle, the Mageu showed up. "Now i have you!" Kanji turns just before the Mageu pounces, and casts her magic. A barrier surrounds the waiting

The Mageu was trapped. "WHAT IS THIS??? RELEASE ME AT ONCE!!!"

Kanji just focused her power, shrinking the barrier smaller and smaller. The Mageu started to panic, started to sound desperate. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, YOU ARE GONNA LOSE-"

Kanji spoke. "I am aware what the cost is, and I will happily pay it if only it gets you out of my life amd dreams for damn good!!!" She sealed the Mageu up even smaller, using all the power Kanji stored to turn her into a sealed stone about thr size of a pebble. Kanji knew the cost, she didn't care. It didn't take long for her to pass out once she was done.

*few weeks later.*

It was a peaceful night and Kanji, who has gone through a few changes, is enjoying the peace. "Never felt better, now..."

"Who is the next person to prank tonight?"

She runs into the night, more certain than eve

Even if i get a earful from quite the talker...

*Can I go home now?*
