Many of you might have seen my previous post about the swollen battery. I contacted Hiby by email and they told me to send it back using the local post. As it costs an unrealistic price to send it, I'm not going.So rn my Hiby is dead just because of battery

Maybe any of you can suggest an alternative battery or something to avoid throwing it away? I can't order its battery from Chinese websites because shipping or receiving lithium batteries is not allowed. So I'm trying to think about a solution as I can't afford buying another brand new device right now.I'm so disappointed at how low quality the batteries in those devices are (don't argue with me, I saw numerous other posts and I know that I always charged and kept it in proper conditions).

If the intention was not to make those devices as typical e-waste, why wouldn't you make them replaceable somehow, or put a better battery in them? And even though it might sound cheap to some, in many people's currency, it's not actually cheap for such devices.

Shortly: If any of you have an idea how I can fix it, please share.

I have no clue why but my R1 battery is swollen and I just noticed because the back side is partially removed just because it doesn't fit. Any solution?

Compared to kde (I'm comparing it to kubuntu kde tho, I haven't tested kde on nixos), nixos gnome is significantly slower, especially in opening apps and often nautilus crashes. Any advice or thoughts why?

(I like gesture switching in gnome, it looks and feels more modern and comfortable)

Hi, I'm considering redownloading my whole library in flac and converting to opus (highest) instead of mp3 (256kbps), would you recommend me? Does it have any difference?

While Spotify made a crossfade option for premium users online, Hiby what do you think to add an adjustment option in Hiby R1 for local music so we can choose crossfade duration instead of a fixed one?

Except Ubuntu (enormous ISO is the major problem for me here, but I have other reasons too)

Except Fedora (I love the idea of having everything latest, but last time I used fedora, I had weekly problems and all of them were different, sometimes graphics, sometimes freezing and sometimes whatnot)

How does nixpkgs work? I see a new version of brave browser committed a week ago but nixos packages website still shows old versions (even in unstable channel). Also do I have an option to get the latest software if it's stuck like that?

Most of the time I have enabled the shuffle feature on my Hiby R1, I have 256 songs, and I still know what comes after the current song. I'm starting to suspect that either it doesn't even reshuffle songs ever or it doesn't shuffle at all. It's impossible for me to know what comes after when I have this amount of songs.

I've been reading issues on reddit and I reported up to 10 issues (on their email too). Can we expect new OS updates or it's kind of a case where manufacturers release a device with max 1-2 updates and then it's abandoned cuz who cares software?
