What's the objective?

Found the demo not too long ago and I liked the concept the gunplay was good and ive been really sinking my teeth into the realistic shooters so i bought the game. I think the game is so far and I really like that I can pause this game and deal with shit around the house. The only thing is im not really sure what the objective of the game is. Ive been treating it like an extraction shooter and thus far ive only been looting village trying to get tasks done for generalist before I move onto a different section. Am I missing something?

Alternative rifles

Ive been generally using the m4 and its other variants mainly because they give them as starter weapons, ive gotten used to adding attachements i like, and I also just enjoy them as general purpose guns but I want to branch to maybe some of the AK rifles. I found an ak-15 i was going kit out, does anyone have any thoughts on if thats worth it and if not which is a good AK to take into lamang?

Skill tree?

Ive played the game pretty much since it came out and despite the issues, im hooked, especially since each update keeps improving the game in drastic ways. I was curious what the community would think if the devs implimented an operator skill tree to build some sort of class system. Maybe there could be an assault class with things like longer arm stamina and sprinting. A sniper class where you can hold your breathe for longer perions and maybe crawl faster and a singleton class where you have perks like moving quieter and generating better loot. These obviously are just slightly off the top of my head and could be expanded way further but to me it makes sense within the game. Different operators go to different schools to train and while many can do similar jobs they all have specialties that makes them the asset to their assigned team. I think it would be cool to build up your character based on your play style similar to what we saw in arc raiders. If this idea never caught on I was thinking having the character naturally improve as you level (similar to tarkovs system). I think implementing something to further invest the players into their created character would be cool. The communities been so great I thought id see what you guys thought of that idea.
