i'm currently using these. do i need to add anything more?

I recently shifted to gurgaon for my internship and bhai, the water here has absolutely wrecked my skin 😭 it's gotten so dry, and my hair is suffering too.

this is my current skincare shelf. should i add anything specifically for dryness/barrier repair, or is this enough? would love some recommendations pls!!

20 | Normal skin | Few acne scars + pigmentation around mouth

EVERY SERUM I'VE FINISHED ( FEB 2026- SEPTEMBER 2026)

I’ve been using these since Feb, so thought I’d share my experience with them. My skin is pretty normal and I don’t have too many concerns, mainly a few scars and pigmentation around my mouth.

Asaya Super Fade — 4/5

Pretty lightweight and easy to use. I noticed some improvement in overall unevenness, but nothing dramatic. Takes consistency.

Minimalist Alpha Arbutin 2% — 4/5

Good for pigmentation but definitely slow. I saw some improvement in my marks, although it took quite a while.

Pilgrim AHA/BHA/PHA Peel — 3/5

Does make my skin smoother and brighter, but it’s quite strong. I have to be careful with it because overdoing it can irritate my skin.

L’Oréal HA 1.5% — 4.5/5

Very simple but effective for hydration. Makes my skin feel soft and plump. Not much to complain about honestly.

Minimalist Niacinamide 5% — 3/5

Nice lightweight serum but I didn’t notice a huge difference in my skin. Works fine as a basic everyday serum, just nothing extraordinary for me.

SKIN1004 Centella Ampoule — 4/5

Really lightweight and soothing. I mostly use it when my skin feels a little dry or irritated. Doesn’t really target my scars, but it’s nice for keeping the skin calm.

Overall, none of these completely transformed my skin, but some definitely worked better for specific concerns. Consistency matters way more than expecting quick results from any serum.
