Internet reaches 67.4% schools, nearly one-third still without connectivity
According to the latest UDISE+ data, internet connectivity in Indian schools has improved to 67.4% in 2025–26, up from 63.5% last year.
That's definitely progress, but it also means around one in three schools still doesn't have internet access.
