Anyukám sajnos nagyon súlyos alkoholfüggő, és egyre inkább úgy érzem, hogy már csak bentlakásos rehabilitáció segíthetne rajta.
A helyzet az, hogy az alkoholizmusának hátterében valószínűleg erős depresszió is áll. Többször elmondta nekem, hogy nincs öröm az életében, és azért iszik, mert így legalább el tudja engedni magát és átmenetileg könnyebbnek érzi a mindennapokat.
A családi helyzetünk nagyon nehéz. Apukámmal az elmúlt kb. 2 évben jelentősen megromlott a kapcsolata, és bár még egy fedél alatt élnek, ez inkább kényszerhelyzet (hitelek, anyagi okok miatt), mint valódi együttélés. Apám személyisége is nagyon rátesz egy lapáttal: nehéz, arrogáns, és agresszív (szerencsére vagy nem szerencsére még csak szóbeli szempontból), ami tovább rontja anyukám állapotát. Azt hiszi az majd segíteni fog a helyzeten, ha az egész családdal hajnalban üvöltözik mert anya megint megivott egy üveggel.

I (26M) recently bought a new car after saving for years. My old car is still in good condition, and my original plan was to sell it and put the money toward paying off some debt.
My sister (29F) found out I was getting a new car and immediately started talking about how perfect my old car would be for her. At the time, I just told her I hadn’t decided what I was doing with it yet.
A few weeks later, she sold her own car. Apparently she got a decent amount for it because used car prices are pretty good right now. She told everyone she was planning to use public transportation for a while and save money.
Then she came to me and asked when I was dropping off my old car.
I was confused and told her I never agreed to give it to her. She said she assumed I would because “family helps family” and because I can afford a new car. I told her I was planning to sell it.
She got upset and said if she had known that, she wouldn’t have sold her car. I pointed out that she sold it before even asking me directly if she could have mine.
Now my parents are involved. They think I’m technically right, but they also say I could help her out and that selling the car would be “greedy” since I don’t absolutely need the money.
My sister isn’t speaking to me and has told several relatives that I left her without transportation.
AITA for refusing to give her my old car when I never actually promised it to her?

We're two students who built a news monitoring and fact-checking platform for a school startup competition. We won, and one of the jury members (a seasoned investor) wants to meet in July to discuss taking it further.

After some thinking, we realized the original product isn't a serious business so we're pivoting to something we believe has real value: an automated digital footprint monitoring and response tool for small and medium businesses.

What it would do:

— Breach & credential monitoring (HIBP API for known breaches, email alerting for affected employees)
— Fake domain / typosquatting detection (dnstwist, openSquat, Certificate Transparency logs)
— Email spoofing audit (SPF, DKIM, DMARC check)
— Social media impersonation detection (Google Custom Search + AI to identify fake profiles)
— Executive impersonation monitoring (same logic, applied to founder/CEO names)
— News & web monitoring (already built this in our previous product)
— Automated takedown requests (abuse reports to registrars, Meta, Google tho we know we can automate the request, not guarantee removal)
— AI-generated plain-language report explaining what was found and what to do

The gap we see: tools like Recorded Future or ZeroFox do this at €1000+/month for enterprise. Nothing affordable and automated exists for SMBs.

Our questions for this community:
Is this a problem you actually see SMBs suffering from?
Is there something obvious we're missing or getting wrong technically?
Would an SMB owner in your network pay anything for this?
