She is bonded with her brother, Uribō, who is a creamsicle cat 🐈

We didn’t know that they were a bonded pair until he got home, so we are so glad we went back.

It took him a few weeks to really warm up, but once he felt comfortable he very quickly came out of his shell.

Uribō is a classic orange - very sweet with his single brain cell. PonPon is a little gremlin, and so lovely 🧡

He has been surprisingly brave, and PonPon is thrilled.

In Japanese, Uribō is the term for a baby wild boar. They are named after the striped, melon-like pattern on their backs.

Uri for short (meaning melon or gourd)

We are usually dog folks, but this little gal won us over with her bunny butt and forward attitude. She's an indoor-only-gal and has some serious kitten energy!

Pon Pon is an onomatopoeia in Japan for the noise an engine makes! (She purrs loudly)

No name yet- she purrs like a warming up engine.

We are keeping her in the bathroom for a bit while she gets settled - she is very unhappy when I leave the room 😂
