I get Fajar into his second phase and I’m waiting for him to pounce. But the dude doesn’t appear. And then you go around the area and find him behind the borders of the area just standing still. Like, he’s not doing anything. Had to restart my perfect no-death run of The Squats because of this.

What’s up? Name’s Niko (M18). So, I’ve been roleplaying for just a few years, probably less than 6, but I think I really handle myself well on semi-lit level roleplays. However, I will always try to adapt to my partner’s writing style and length. I usually prefer doing OC x OC, but if you rather use a CC or want me to play one, I don’t mind at all (as long as you’re open for double-ups). While I like romance, it’s not obligatory at all. Hello! Name’s Niko (18M), and I’ve been doing RP for some time now (around 6 years), though lately I’ve struggled to continue due to issues related to lack of free time and I’m trying to go back at it now that I’m a bit free. So, this plot mixes a bit of modern fantasy of demons and angels, with slice-of-life, deep backgrounds, and if you wish, slow-burn romance. We can discuss the plot later, but this is the basic lore of the world:

Beyond the material plain of Earth, exist three worlds that coexist together, where only the souls of the deceased can access and coexist with the entities that have inhabited these places since before the first humans appeared. These places have only been described correctly by one man: Dante Alighieri, but that was centuries ago, and just like the world of Terra (Earth) evolved, so did these three places.

Inferno: Originally Nine Circles, now reduced to 7 to represent each deadly sin for an easier division. This placed is inhabited by Sinner Souls, and their natural habitants: Demons. But this isn’t the same hell everyone thought… And not because it is exactly paradise. Inferno is crammed as no soul is perfect, and the Demon population was already big enough, and the erasure of two circles had caused it to become overpopulated. What was once a place for torment and damnation… Became a place of endless slums, famine, and violence, where every day is a fight for survival

Paradiso: Heaven itself is just a fancier and bureaucratic new version of Inferno. This place is not the promised afterlife for those who followed a good path as promised. It’s more like an exclusive VIP club made to house the Pure Souls and Angels. They were the first ones to also reduce the number of Heavenly Spheres from Nine to Seven, each representing a cardinal virtue, and unlike Inferno, this brought no trouble since they’re not overpopulated. Paradiso became a place of perfection and luxury, a promised utopia for those who followed a perfect life. Not a good one. Not a happy one. Perfect, and now they are “blessed” to live in a perfect society… Where the slightest deviation from what they consider a good path will scratch you as a Corrupted Soul or a Fallen Angel, and exiled from this promised land.

Purgatorio: The mountain with Seven Terraces unified into what may be considered a refuge. Not drowning in poverty and overpopulation, nor swimming in luxury and exclusivity. Just enough. A city of second chances for those who escaped Inferno and got exiled from Paradiso. Not the place where you will starve to death. Not the place where you hide behind a mask. Just what’s necessary to live a life in this city.

This RP will take place in Purgatorio, and wether your character comes from either of these will be determined as we plan the story.
