Is this site worth joining today?

Hi!

I randomly came across gaia online recently when I was searching for old dress up games on Google for fun and suddenly got myself into a bit of a rabbit hole the lead me to someone's old profile on gaia online which I thought was awesome, especially with the css customization. I looked into this site and thought it was so awesome! It's definitely the type of social browser game site I've been searching for constantly today, though of course found out it's actually a fairly old site (makes sense).

Seems like its not as active as before and seems I missed the golden age 😞 as with all similar sites unfortunately. I'm surprised it's still up actually! I'm most interested in creating outfits but I am curious about other aspects too.

To the people who still play, what keeps you playing? Or have you moved onto something else that's bu chance similar (if so please share I'm desperate to find social sites like these, I hate modern social media I need creativity-)

Edit: After look at everyone's responses I decided to give it a go :D my user is SpriteOvercast in case anyone is down to add me. I'm pretty excited to play around with this!

What kind of documentation do I give for a financial aid appeal?

Hi!

I need a bit of help figuring out what documentation I should give to submit my financial aid appeal.

For context: I was suffering from undiagnosed severe depression for years, and in highschool I was recommended to take CCP classes because it'd look good on my transcript plus they way they worded it, I thought the only way I can get a scholarship and go to my local community college for free was to take these classes. I didn't do well at all. I thought maybe I could manage balancing my school work, applying to colleges and scholarships, etc whilst trying to put my depression aside but it didn't work.

I also wasn't told that these classes would affect my SAP and take away my financial aid, which I found out too late. After graduation I finally went to the doctor to get officially diagnosed and medicated plus therapy, so I feel I can take on classes now. For the SAP appeal form I have to submit documents, if not it's instant denial. It has to be what happened during those school years but I don't exactly have documentation of what happened? Can't exactly ask who knew me about it as they didn't know. I'm thinking maybe I could ask my doctor to write something official if that'd work despite me not being there during those school years

Any ideas?

Do I need a resume for entry-level part time jobs?

Hi

I had a quick question and was wondering if I should fill a resume out when I start applying.

Im 19, never had a job before but rn I'm looking for something to start off especially since I'm out of college rn. I have been trying to apply (whatever even pops up around here) but didn't get any call backs or whatever. I'm not surprised of course, especially given the job market now. However, I also have filled in a application without a resume or noting experience, which might turn hiring recruiters away.

If I have to make a resume I will learn how to, problem is I won't even have anything to write on it so idk how to go about it. I have no experience, did not doing anything before I graduated HS so no volunteer stuff or whatever, idk about skills
