I tried producing a country track this time, but I don't think the mix feels quite right (or maybe it's my sound selection?).
I'm going for that modern Nashville country sound. I'm finding it hard to mix because the guitars take up a lot of space and cover a wide frequency range, but with only the guitars, it sounds thin. So the track ends up feeling a bit heavy and squashed.
Hi! I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this, but my Audi seems to be producing quite a lot of white smoke from the exhaust, and it smells like diesel. I’ve mainly noticed it when it’s cold. I haven’t dared to take it for a longer drive since noticing it :D

Seeking mix feedback on my synth-pop track before I send it off for professional mastering. I produced and mixed the track myself and want to get it as close to a commercial release as possible.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on the overall balance, how impactful the chorus feels when it hits, the placement and separation of the instruments, and the overall punch and energy of the mix. I’m also open to any other issues you notice that could help take the mix to the next level before mastering.
I’m working in Logic Pro with a 4/4 project, but I’m not sure how to get the grid to match this kind of rhythm/groove in the image.
If you look closely, the notes are sitting between the grid lines. I want to program drums to fit the part, but it’s a struggle when nothing visually lines up with the grid.
Does anyone know how to set this up properly? :)
