Asking because all my work pants are Carhartt and I’ve just been throwing them away when they start ripping and burning up at work.

Be me, spend the last of your money fixing your truck that broke down 23 hours from home when the person you bought it from said “there’s nothing wrong with it”, finally get a job to see that it’s right back the way you came, taxes and union dues take 40% of my paycheck, go home to your travel trailer to find out that the dealer lied about resealing the roof and there’s 3 square foot of rotten roof decking, get a quote to fix and it’s $5k, call the union rep to find out that they lied about your ability to transfer locals when the ability to transfer was the only reason you joined that union, and to top it all off the company lays you off 2 weeks before they said they would which leaves you penny pinching.

All people do is fucking lie, everything is built like shit, the government takes all my fucking money, and to top it off EVERYTHING IS SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE NOW. I don’t know how much more of this shit I can take, it’s pushing me past the edge of sanity and I can’t fucking cope anymore. I just want a normal fucking life man. Ever since that fucking pandemic it’s been damn near impossible to scrape by anywhere.
