Whats your current wordpress workflow?
I’ve been changing the way I approach WordPress development with AI. Instead of using AI only to generate PHP, CSS, or JavaScript snippets, I’m starting to connect AI coding agents directly to WordPress through tools like WordPress MCP, WP-CLI, and the Abilities API. My workflow is becoming Figma or client brief → AI planning → local WordPress → AI coding agent → WordPress MCP → build → automated testing → screenshot and visual QA → Git → staging → production. I use AI to inspect the site, modify files, run commands, test changes, check screenshots, and fix issues, while I stay responsible for the architecture, quality, security, and final approval. For me, learning AI agents, MCP, Abilities API, WP-CLI, Git, automated testing, visual QA, and lightweight WordPress development is becoming an important part of modern WordPress development.
