Started life as a transitional 38-44 Heavy Duty. Somewhere along the way someone converted it to a Bullseye gun by changing the barrel and adding adjustable sights - the front being a King's reflector sight (there is a mirror in the well of the sight base that reflects light up onto the gold insert of the front sight). The hammer is a wide-spur Micro. Work most likely done by the King Gunsight Company. The black walnut Roper pattern stocks were added much later and were made by iconic grip maker Keith Brown.

This is part of the Heritage Series of guns commissioned by Lew Horton but there are also models from Sports South. These don't necessarily replicate past models, but rather pays homage to them. This is a LH Model 15-8 with the frame color case-hardened by Doug Turnbull. This model was also available in a blued or nickel finish. This one is number 28 of 206 CCH guns.
