Is it correct?

Hi all, Was digging some plant near house and broke the storm water pipe. It has a 90 degree bend upwards and connected to the out flow pipe. Is that correct? Should not the outflow pipe below the storm water pipe? Or my understanding is not correct?

Gyprock stud adhesive in bathroom?

Hi everyone, my tiler is saying I should put stud adhesive to install the water resistant gyprock boards. But I read in the gyprock manual that for tiling only fastner is allowed, that is screws. What is the norm everyone is using?

How to put the dishwasher in here

Hi all, I have this U shaped kitchen with Kaboodle cabinets. I would like to put a 600mm dishwasher next to the sink. But as shown in pic i have only around 450-500mm gap right to the sink and after that an L shaped corner cabinet. How can I put the dishwasher in here. What are some of the ideas?

External extension cord

Hi everyone, I have a carport and wanted to put an garage motor door. So, a sparky came earlier and put a weatherproof GPO in there. When the motor door installer came today he couldn’t fix the motor on the side where the gpo is there due to not much clearance. He has now installed the motor on the other side. Is there a cheaper option to use any extension to connect the motor plug to the gpo or the only option to call a sparky again to fit the gpo on the other side of the carport?

Am I doing anything wrong.

I am not a very handy person with tools and all. But having my own house is teaching me few things along the way. I am trying to add this nogging to this stud. I am using 75mm wood screws for this. And i am making a pilot hole before even screwing. But the screw is very hard to penetrate the wood. But after a bit of struggle it went through and now at this point it won’t go any further.

Edit: thanks everyone for all your suggestions. Probably will go with the nail option.
