The year was 2005...I was 13...I was kicked out of another foster home ..I found myself living in Fresno Ca. A foreign land for me ..I was a troubled youth with no direction....come Christmas time I had no idea my foster family were going to buy me a psp... opening that pap box and feeling the quality plastic and buttons made me realize I had just been gifted something special... something ahead of its time... turning the screen on I was mesmerized....for a kid who didn't have a computer the web browser was equivalent to the holy grail...I'd walk around the neighborhood looking for free wifi to bum off...I was a gangsta kid...but I'd see kids from all walks of life and we'd connect over our psps, always tryna keep the sickest wallpaper...for my time the psp was a way of life...playing fire team bravo online until it was time to go to school...I mean I haven't experienced anything like the psp ever and I am beyond thankful for those experiences.
