So after visiting San Diego I got to think that Charlotte ….

After visiting San Diego, I came back to Charlotte thinking… Charlotte definitely isn’t a bad place to live, but what exactly are we getting?

I feel like Charlotte’s biggest selling point used to be: affordable houses, good jobs, growing city, low tax, decent quality of life. But now that a nice house can easily push $700k–$1M+, a lot of pretty loco people, and other than breweries and hiking what keeps Charlotte attractive?

It made me wonder if I’d rather have a 2 bedroom condo somewhere like San Diego access to ocean, interesting city great weather, walkable areas and endless things to do than a huge house in Charlotte.

Yes, taxes, gas, insurance, etc. are higher in places like California. But maybe that’s simply the price of living somewhere with more to offer. And we only live once not to enjoy it

Curious if anyone else has started questioning the Charlotte “value proposition,” because I feel that all I do is work and wait till I can do more work or am I completely missing what makes it worth staying.

I need to hear your take

So I got 21 limited ram 1500 with very beautiful blue and white interior. Millage will be pushing 90 soon so thinking to replace it with new truck. I’m debating between going tungsten to have same equipment lever raptor Trx or platinum f150

I’m into cars , I love beautiful interior I love comfort features and no I’d never buy big horn or some plane Jane truck just to go from a to be and I couldn’t find better appearance than ram but I do like idea of depreciation on raptor and of course performance but that black plastics interior makes me think why the hell is it 90g truck . Even new limited finishes inside look so cheap especially on long horn

If I would not be in construction field I’d never had a truck and I love driving my lady’s Maserati but need to refresh my work horse to enjoy it daily

Anyone jumped from one to another ? What’s your take on quality of materials inside? Want to hear your thoughts guys
