Hi! Almost forgot how much of a maze it feels like choosing the right agency setup for a B2B SaaS like ours. We're not too big, around 50 folks, mostly running with a small in house marketing team and a couple of freelancers. It's been alright up till now but things are getting shaky - creatives are all over the place, SEO isn't solid, and my efforts on paid social feel like pure guesswork.

I've spent months chatting with different agencies and man, it gets confusing. They all say they're "full-service" but usually they just excel in one area.

So, right now, we're looking at two main options:

1. Traditional retainer agencies - feels safe, but there's this nagging fear about being stuck for 6 months with a team that might not get our niche.

2. Subscription-based teams - this one's more modern, offering a set number of hours each month with a dedicated team. Seems more flexible since there are no lengthy contracts. Was eyeing NinjaPromo since they've worked with some crypto/fintech names and have quite a few positive reviews. But, still not sure if they can keep up the quality over time.

Also considering a few others:

• Omniscient Digital - looks good for SaaS growth but kinda pricey
• Single Grain - they've been around and seem reliable for different industries
• SaaSHero - flat fee, month to month which seems less risky

Where I'm really stuck is whether anyone’s had a long-term experience with NinjaPromo’s subscription model for a B2B context? Did the quality drop after a while? And how do you find the right balance between specialist and full-service agencies, especially with a budget between $5k-$15k? We're kinda in the middle - too big for just freelancers but too small for the really big players.

Might be overthinking it, but I want to avoid a half-year trial error with the wrong firm. Has anyone faced something similar recently? What do you think guys?
