A UK convention interesting fact...

Last year, there were 2 conventions in Liverpool and at least 1 in Manchester. This year, there is only 1 in Liverpool. The great increase is taking place, in the UK at least! 😂 Please, feel free to add information about your own corner of the UK or of the world, to enlighten us about the governing body's claim: The world is experiencing such an increase that they need more and more money, and that they need to acquire or build more (lavish) properties.

My Liverpool convention has taken a nasty turn!

Sandwichson is making a special appearance! (Pic in the comments). I was happily listening to Spotify when his ugly porky mug appeared on the screen! I nearly vomited my lovingly-prepared lunch! The man is red as a lobster (holiday in the sun or incoming heart failure!) and sitting down and with his obligatory shouting tone!

'Respect the Decisions of Others'. Another great watchtower article. The governing body really think they are equal to God and must be obeyed as such!

'Elders contribute to the unity of the congregation by not making rules on personal matters and by not going  “beyond the things that are written” in the Bible. **And by extension, they do not go beyond the Bible-based counsel that is written in our publications.**\*\*'

People will accept and nod, without batting an eyelid, that the drivel coming out of the gb's mouths must be taken as gospel. Literally! Wake up, people!

Our History in Motion—The Governing Body Preserves Unity—Part 1

This is the funniest mid-week meeting joke! 😂 After all the fake/useless 'changes' imposed by the holy and inspired governing body on their adherents, this meeting item overlooks the divisions created by rushed u-turns. Watchtower has become a reactive cult, reactive to increased scrutiny. Jws are increasingly apathetic, understandably. Now, they are confused and apathetic!

These two Watchtowers on additional education are an utter joke.

Last week's article was written to dissuade young people from educating themselves beyond what is legally required. "Education poses such dangerous risks if you belong to our cult!" This weekend's article warns of running the risk of drifting away from the grip of Watchtower and its governing body. The introductory song, song 56 Make the truth your own, was a shocking choice and set out the premise for the article. In conclusion, your ass and your time belong to us, don't even think about educating yourself or associate with the wicked! 🤦‍♂️🤬🤬

I wonder how Philip Brumley, chief counsel for Watchtower, feels when he reads this weekend's watchtower article. An elder, lying in court and fined $154k. This is an indictment on the governing body.

'WE LIVE in a world dominated by Satan. Lies, deception, and betrayal are commonplace. It can be hard to know whom to trust. (...) And some people have found that they cannot even count on their close friends to keep their word. Yet, how reassuring it is to know that we can always put our trust in Jehovah! He is “the God of truth.” (Read Psalm 31:2-5.) Truth is woven into his personality—it is part of who he is. In everything he says and does, Jehovah is dependable and reliable. (...) Although Jehovah uses humans to tell others about the good news, the angels are involved in gathering honesthearted people into the Christian congregation.' I wonder what the angels were thinking when they chose Phil 'the liar' Brumley! And, he is in good company! 🤦‍♂️

World Headquarters' visit to the UK. Gerrit Loesch is visibly unwell.

Currently sitting at the special.meeting. Gerrit is reading his talk verbatim in a very soft, often hesitant or stammering voice. The man has aged considerably. He is even struggling to read his pre-written text. I have no idea what his talk is about, apologies to those who are interested in the content.

The governing body is ramping up the pressure on young people to serve them, under the guise of serving god full time. The borg is populated with braindead parasites, in the image of the governing body. The CO is a prime example! The organisation's survival depends on young people since no one else is interested to join up.

It is to appease the former members and by extension the exjw community. I believe Watchtower's victory was a foregone conclusion. The abused and the vulnerable carry little weight in comparison to religions, especially the governing body's American religion. The day victims are taken seriously by political and legal authorities is the day things will change. There will be celebrations in Warwick tonight! My heart breaks for all the victims of Watchtower's worldwide shunning policy.
