basically what the title says, i’m contemplating using Umbra to level up before progressing the main story. Maybe I need more levels? also I read somewhere there’s a rest point in altissia that triples exp but i cant find it.

frustrating story, i saved up like 70k exp for that rest point only to find out exp drains when you complete a chapter. took me days to get back on the game. I’m playing ffxv for the first time so no spoilers please ^^

EDIT: thank you, everyone! Truly appreciate all your help. Based on the comments here I think I haven’t been fully utilizing the charms and the food mechanic so all of these are really helpful. I’ll level up a little more before I proceed with the main quests 🫶
