Being new to this fandom I found out that before FF15 there was a FF Versus 13 and in it was Stella who was then changed into Luna. I also found out through this that a lot of ppl prefer Stella over Luna and I just don’t understand why bc we see less and know less about Stella compared to Luna. I think a lot of ppl like Stella over Luna bc of the potential Stella could’ve had bc in the FF versus 13 clips it seemed like she would be an antagonist to Noct but a love interest at the same time. In the clip it also seemed like Stella and Noct have the same or similar powers. I guess some ppl like that type of character over Luna’s character. But I love Luna so much and I always feel so sad when she’s on my screen. Some ppl don’t like Luna due to her lack of presence in the game and feeling more like a plot device for Noct. But her being a plot device; isn’t that what she is? She says multiple times in the game and Kingsglaive movie that it’s her duty to help the Chosen King aka Noct or smth along those lines. Also she does a lot of things behind the scenes like forging covenants with the Gods and healing ppl around the world inflicted with the Starscourge. Also, in one of the scenes in the game she has a desire to live a normal life like regular ppl, but to her she feels like she can’t bc of her duty and she’s puts that as number 1. That rlly made me feel so sad for her. In the movie she was more badass, showing her strong will and being able to stand her ground. Also, in another in game clip she mentions how she wants to stand by Noct’s side rather than just be behind him iirc. Imo I see Luna as someone who wants to have a normal life and be by the side of the person she loves but due to being the oracle and all the events that happened in Insomnia she cannot. I feel that the ppl who prefer Stella over Luna don’t understand Luna’s character enough. I fear I might get flamed for this opinion of mine 😅

So hypothetically Noctis can conjure up any weapon. Something my girlfriend put into my head, could Noctis, say, conjure up a chair with blades, or say a toddler holding a blade?

Girlfriend here: say the weapon had to be non-sentient, could it be a human skeleton attached to a blade. Or like a prosthetic leg with a blade like giselle from kingsman

As title states, for some reason I’m getting my ass handed to me here. I do like no damage and I get one shot by every enemy. What am I doing wrong? Do i need to be higher level?

I’ve never struggled with a dungeon or enemies like this. Even ones that are a couple levels higher and here I am, at the level i need to be, and I can’t do hold my own.

I actually bought the base game on PS4 all the way back in 2017 but never finished it. I recently picked it back up and just completed the Steyliff Grove dungeon in Chapter 7.

I really want to see the ending this time, but I noticed the Royal Edition adds a ton of late-game content. Since the standalone Royal Pack upgrade on the PS Store doesn't include the three comrades' DLCs, I've decided to wait for a sale on the full Royal Edition.

My questions are:

1. Should I keep pushing the main story on my PS4 base game for now?
2. Which specific chapters are the big turning points where the experience becomes significantly better with the Royal Edition, and where exactly should I stop to wait for the upgrade?

Would love to hear your thoughts based on the chapter pacing. Thanks!

Pretty sure question has been here many times. I'm years late to the party. But, the coeurls! wth??? I'm level 38 (beginning of chapter 4). I can't even kill one of these things. Have a few of the special weapons and Nocris shield thing now. But yikes. I'm just trying to do that first hunt with them. I survive long enough to run away after using like 20 potions and 5 phoenix downs, but make no progress. There a trick with them or something?

Lost Treasures - Final Fantasy XV Mods - CurseForge Basically I'm not planning on using the other mods for this game at all, just wanted a mod that enables all the possible content that is in the vanilla, so I don't want to have to use a mod manager just for one mod.

So would appreciate for any advices on how to install it manually, or maybe some other similar older mod that did the same and didn't need flagrum?

basically what the title says, i’m contemplating using Umbra to level up before progressing the main story. Maybe I need more levels? also I read somewhere there’s a rest point in altissia that triples exp but i cant find it.

frustrating story, i saved up like 70k exp for that rest point only to find out exp drains when you complete a chapter. took me days to get back on the game. I’m playing ffxv for the first time so no spoilers please ^^

EDIT: thank you, everyone! Truly appreciate all your help. Based on the comments here I think I haven’t been fully utilizing the charms and the food mechanic so all of these are really helpful. I’ll level up a little more before I proceed with the main quests 🫶

I recently replayed the Terra Wars colab mission and I have to say, the chemistry between Sarah and Noct is really interesting. I want more!

I feel that Lunafreya's personality is completely different from the main story. What do you all think？

So I had found out there was a manga for FFXV. I found a website that has an English translation of some of the chapters, which I’ve linked above. If anyone knows where I can read the other chapters with English translation please share them 🙇‍♀️

Hey, maybe someone can help me out.

Some of the cutscenes, I couldn't figure out which exactly, aren't working for whatever reason. The first cutscene with noctis and his dad for example is working fine, now I used to boat to cross to Altissia and the cutscene is stuck after the first few frames. It doesn't even get past the White/Blue introduction text. Then there is no sound and the subs keep overlapping slowly.

Online I found none else with a similar issue, only frame drops and stereo issues.

Can someone help me out please? 😭 I want to finish the game but i cant keep missing out most of the cutscenes 😭

I tried to start as admin, changed the sound settings lowered the Graphic settings to the minimum. I'm kinda lost on what else I can do 😭
