Searching through eBay for old comic books, recently. And remembering how much easier the process was on half.com before eBay swallowed it.
It’s been awhile, but eBay hasn’t matched that UI in awhile.
A shame no one seems to have been able to recreate a similar service.
When Benjamin first meets the Prophets, are they in his mind and speaking through his memories or is he visiting different moments from his past with them? There are occasional moments when he is in the white space that makes it seem as if the entire conversation is taking place in his head. Since the Prophets are non-corporeal, I always figured the Temple was just their space where they chose to look like figures from his past while Ben’s corporeal nature bothered them.
But maybe it’s more that he is talking with them inside his own mind… with his memories actually talking back to him. If that’s the case, that is possibly the strangest telepathic conversation in all of Trek. And it’s kind of genius!
Is this what everyone has thought while watching this? Has it ever been mentioned by the writers what they were going for?
…so I am getting ready to face the first dual horn boss. How do I break/stagger enemies, again?
So, at first, I expect we all push to acquire the AP building nodes like Happy Camping, RoadRunnimg, Magic Action, etc.
But what do you do from there? Do you lean into Teamwork? Maybe you work on Noctis’s air step? Techniques? Or maybe you just bide your time until Armiger comes along and put all your AP there?
I am curious how everyone builds their team.
As the heading says, there is a crack in the wall and I need a decent fix at a decent price.
Just curious… I can’t be the only one who sees several possible pronunciations.
Curious about the gym and wondering if anyone here uses them.
I have done a quick visit and it seems okay. But I visited during the day when it was quiet. Noticed it’s a bit small. Does it get crowded easily? Do users show etiquette and clean up after themselves?
I want to know the stuff I can’t ask the front desk.
Someone mentioned having to wait two months on Viz. Just curious. Maybe a holiday?
Used the leaks flair because the system is paranoid.
Do people prefer Dragon Warrior VII (PlayStation), Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past (3DS), or Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined (All current consoles and PC)?
I lean toward the original for PlayStation, myself. While it is a bit more ungainly, I liked having the full experience. Although the moonlighting system in Reimagined is pretty darn good, too.
I was inspired by an earlier post. The first episode of Young Justice is entitled “Independence Day”. It seemed fitting to watch. But it also got me thinking…
How did everyone here start watching the series? I started based off a Facebook reel. I don’t even remember what it was. But it intrigued me. The reel itself was total clickbait. Thankfully, a commenter was kind enough to mention what the series was.
So I was bored one night and decided to try it on HBO Max. And I am so very glad that I did.
How else did everyone start watching the series?
…of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It’s the finale of season six.
There is a moment where Data is recounting to Counselor (Was she a Commander, at this point? I forget.) Troi what measures he had taken to provoke an emotional response. At the end, he mentions subjecting himself to “erotic imagery”.
For just a moment, you can see her start to crack up at having this conversation. It lasts barely a second, but the look on her face is priceless!
About to start a new game and there is something I am wondering. How does everyone advance his skills? There are all of what, two battles with him?
Obviously I need to disable the enemies and let him have a go without killing them. Any suggestions as to the easiest way to go about that, though? It sounds like I have to beef up at least one character to keep the enemies disabled and alive… But I don’t recall having a lot of money to buy potions, etc.
I get that he used the Citadel to rip open a hole in the Curve. Rick mentioned how he and Morty would not want to be there when it was done. That sort of makes sense.
But the tampering of the portal fluid and the tweaking of Operation Phoenix to liquify all the other Ricks and Mortys… What was that about? I don’t see how killing them helped.
While he wasn’t above killing, it seems like the writers wrote him as having a purpose behind it. They even go so far as to say it later on that he just wanted to be left alone.
So… why the mass murder? What did I miss?
I was reading about it and how it supposedly covers extra information. Without spoiling too much, what does it cover? How good is the game itself? I am debating buying it so any information about it would be helpful.
What was the mangled figure Harry and Albus saw?
Was it Voldemort himself… or was it the bit of his soul that died in place of Harry?
Both Harry and Voldemort pass out after the killing curse. And Harry later says he saw what will become of Voldemort.
But I never understood what happened there. Voldemort was not struck by the curse. Nor did he pass out when other horcruxes were destroyed.
So what’s the explanation?
Preferably without spoiling
I am debating whether or not to buy the game on sale or wait… I have played the original, wasn’t huge on the DS version, though.
I am waiting for a lower price, but I figure I would want to have them in case HBO Max decides to remove them for whatever reason.
Chances are we won’t get a fifth season. But it occurs to me that maybe purchasing all the seasons available might have swayed producers. So… who bought copies of the series?
Why are there tracks with multiple songs put together?
For example, tracks two, three, and four are actually nine different themes just packaged in a three tracks. Even the naming of the tracks indicates it.
But why not just have them stand alone?
