Help with ID'ing an engine

Not much to go off of here. This boiler is sunk into a swamp in the western Adirondack forest. I was told that it was part of a logging operation and was stripped and abandoned after it got stuck in the swamp. The area was too swampy to get very close, I'm hoping to go back and look again once it dries out later in the season.

I don't know if it was a stationary engine for a sawmill or water pump, or if it might have been a traction engine. There weren't any obvious casting markings that I could see. The boiler is probably 20ish feet long, 3-4 feet across. The smoke stack opening is very oblong, much wider than I'd expect. Thanks!

Front suspension woes

I'm trying to get my 1970 kit car into a drivable condition after rebuilding it 5 years ago. I had to replace the front torsion beam bc the shock mounts had rotted out completely. I bought a replacement off Appletree, mounted some shocks, and thought that would be that. I put the body on and discovered the new front end was lower by at least 3 inches. I've tried moving the adjusters and they simply will not budge, and always spring back to center no matter what I do. I took the sway bar and shocks off to try and give the suspension more movement, no dice.

The front feels static when driving, there is no suspension at all. The trailing arms move when the car is jacked up but there's no bounce when the wheels are on the ground.

I'm honestly perplexed and I'm trying to find things to look for. I plan to pull the suspension apart next week to look closer. I'm guessing the torsion leaves are worn out, but I honestly don't know. Any suggestions of things to consider and check would be appreciated

Edit: Suspension was a used front beam that came complete. I've never taken it apart. It's a ball joint style.

So, I am a college student living on campus. I'm in the upperclassmen apartments, which are set up townhouse style. I went to close my blinds today, and happened to catch a glimpse of my neighbor across the way through their window. I'll admit, I'm a nosy motherfucker, so I wanted to see what was going on for a bit; this was a mistake. After a few seconds of looking they came fully into view, and they were clearly in the middle of having sex. I knew I should look away but I could not bring myself to. I felt glued to the window for about 15 mins while they finished, got dressed, and eventually left the room. I don't typically consider myself a perverted person or someone who would want to watch that sort of thing without consent but now I am questioning my morals. Don't know what I'm looking for from this post, just kinda needed to tell someone but was afraid to tell roommates/college friends.
