Sanyo MG-7 cassette player help

Hey guys! I recently purchased this player off of ebay and there were a couple issues that I found. I bought this knowing it was going to be a fixer upper and figured it shouldn't be too hard. I replaced the belts, cleaned the corrosion off of the curcuit board with isopropyl alcohol, and tweaked the play speed for like an hour to get the perfect sound. All that's left to do is fix the left sound output. When I wear headphones, it is completely silent on the left side. The sound only plays on both ears if I put the jack in halfway. I am having trouble finding the right youtube tutorial for my model and would appreciate any help I can get. Because of the way the player is built, I can only truly examine the underside of the circuit board of I disconnect some wires which I'm trying to avoid. I do have a soldering kit but I would like to hold off until I know for sure what I need to do.

Cassette tape help

Hey everyone! I just bought some cassette tapes to play in my player and im running into issues. All I hear at the moment is static. I'm completely uninformed about tapes but I think both of mine are in good condition. They appear clean and they have the foam stopper thing underneath the tape as seen in the video. I have never ran into issues before with my player. It takes cds perfectly so I don't know what to think. I've tried two Paul Simon tapes with no luck so I'm lead to believe the issue is the player. Any input would be greatly appreciated :)

I desperately want to listen to my tapes so let me know what fixes I can try or if a repair needs to be performed.
