Leaning towards bad engine mounts. Only thing throwing me off is that sometimes it feels/sounds rotational, but that still could be from the heavy acceleration. Just looking for some input.
Trying to figure out this noise. It seems to be somewhat RPM driven but also at idle it’ll vibrate. Started happening after getting new tires.
So far i’ve replaced all struts, control arms, ball joints and axles. It’s persistent.
I’m guessing motor mount, trans or diff mounts. Possibly guibo. Motor doesn’t rise when checking for bad motor mount, visual of trans looked fine.
Got engine malfunction error, reduced power.. turned car off and on, went away. No weird noises, used my code reader and nothing popped up. It was right after doing a little pull to merge onto the highway.
I’m newer to the BMW side, it is a N54 2010 535xi.
Just incase everything i’ve done so far; valve cover, belts, alternator, spark plugs and coil packs, new air filter. Just curious. It’s bone stock.
