Looking at getting an AR15 style such as the S&W sport or the new Ruger Harrier. Are they allowed in NY? I can’t seem to find either one anywhere and nobody online will ship it to a store.
I started committing to carrying as much as possible recently. Also got a new Certum 4 holster so I wanted to test that out with different belts I have. I went to pick up my teenage twin daughters from work at McDonald’s tonight. I’m sitting by the curb and they came out and went up to my window and told me there’s a man with a big knife out back. I said outside or inside? They said inside back by the bathrooms. I said did you see him and was he holding it? They said we don’t know but we need to get our stuff and went back inside. I sat there staring at the windows thinking, ok, if I see someone walking around holding a knife, I am going in and will only draw if he comes towards me or my girls. Or do I not draw until he makes a threat. All this is going through my mind while I’m anxiously waiting for them to come back out. Mind you, I also had my 7 year old son with me in the truck. This has made me think, damn, I am carrying everyday everywhere. You just never know. Carry on everyone. Carry on.
Edit: I forgot to mention. When they came back out they said someone told them he left.
Edit: another lesson learned. Lots of keyboard warriors that know exactly what to do in every possible situation on this forum so don’t share stories everybody unless you handled it perfectly.
Love the 3 but hate that the clips go right where my belt loop is. This fixes it. Already ordered.
