Alex drawer inserts

Does anyone know if anyone sells 3D printed inserts for the Ikea Alex drawers at all? Specifically the wide ones.

Otherwise I may be forced to get a 3D printer!

Thanks!

Alex drawers for a Lego City

Hi all

For anyone with IKEA Alex drawers, have you ever used this storage option and built a Lego city on top of them?

I dont know exact measurements yet but I am looking at having 6x wide version of Alex drawers on the full length (both lengths) and then a couple on the width. So roughly 14 in total. On top of this I would add melamine sheets 12-18mm, then a 6x2 frame above, followed by more 12-18mm sheets on top.

I would add 6x2 support legs around the perimeter and in the middle for extra support.

I feel this could be too much weight, even with so many drawers below. Not forgetting all of the modular buildings on top!

What do you think?

My LEGO City which is now dismantled, ready for an upgrade!

Hi all

Just want to share my Lego city that took me approx 15 months and totalled 85 base plates.

I am currently moving house so it is now all boxed up and ready to be improved and doubled in size!

If you are interested in following me during this process, check out my YouTube channel 🙂

Thank you

Storage issues!

Hi

I have seen various posts regarding storage issues with Capcut and some work arounds.

However, does anyone know if it is safe to delete the hidden files under the /Capcut Drafts folder? It appears to be taking the bulk of my storage up!

The hidden folders in here are .recycle_bin and .cloud_cache

Thanks

Hi

I posted some photos of my Lego city a while back and was asked to see more. I saw this as an opportunity to start a small YouTube channel and I have been overwhelmed by the comments and support so far.

If you wish to see more and follow my content, please check out my channel below and give me a subscribe! I am currently in the process of moving house and expanding my City to a much larger table.

Thank you for looking and the support so far.

YouTube audio issues but only on PC

Hi

I have recently started creating Youtube videos and only just realised after uploading a few that I am experiencing some audio issues.

I use capcut to edit all of my videos and once exported they sound nice and loud, no issues. Playing from youtube on my mobile and TV, sound quality is good and still loud. However, as soon as I play them on my PC, they are far too quiet. I have tried a couple of browsers and it remains the same.

If I watch other well known channels, sound quality is fine - it is just my own!

Any advice on what I can do please? Im confused how it is so bad on the PC but fine elsewhere, plus nobody has pointed this out to me so I am wondering if it is just my PC. Perhaps someone could verify this for me if I send you the URL?

Thanks
