hr of 38

Is this a thing most people would worry about? my first thought when i saw it was yay i’m getting stronger but it worried my sister, I think it’s just a sign my heart is stronger tho. I’ve been running consistently all summer so about 3 months

206 hr

For context this was supposed to be a 10:30 pace and i wasn’t expecting the incline, I was too scared to ask my friends to slow down (I know, bad). After, I did one stride and my vision went black/blurry and I had to sit down for a bit I was definitely dehydrated and I got heat exhaustion, I don’t know if one is because of another or not but yea. I think it was around 80 degrees out this day. I obviously am gonna talk to my doctor soon about hr on my runs because even on daily normal runs i average anywhere from 165-180 and have trouble getting below 160 if i’m running for over a mile, I just want someone else’s two cents on it. I’ve pretty much ruled out my apple watch being incorrect btw so please don’t say that.

edit: I guess I should also add that my max hr based on age calculation is 205 so take that as you will

how do we feel about sweating?

Obviously I don’t mean just normal sweating but whenever I do longer runs in colored shorts they’re a whole different color and it looks like I peed myself! I don’t feel that embarrassed about it but i’m wondering how other runners feel and would you think it’s weird to see someone like that?

Also here is my run from today! working towards a sub 60 10k then a half!
