Why Are My Mushrooms Already Opening Up and Staying Small?
Why are the mushrooms already opening up and not getting very big? It’s my first grow and they are Golden Teacher.

How should I keep my monotub humid at this stage when pins are already growing?
Should I only mist the side walls and lid, or can I also very lightly mist the surface/mycelium in the middle with a fine water mist?
I have some side pins and fuzzy feet. Should I increase FAE a bit or just leave it alone? The surface still has small moisture beads and everything else looks healthy.

I’m on day 5. Should I introduce fruiting conditions now or let it colonize for another 2 days?
Also, is it correct to slightly crack/open the lid for fresh air exchange and only mist if the surface starts looking too dry?

I currently have about 600 g of grain spawn — would you consider it ready once it’s fully colonized and firm, or do you usually let it sit a few extra days?
Second question: what ratio do you use for coco coir? More like 1:2 or 1:3 (spawn : substrate)?
And how do you prepare your coir exactly? How much water do you use for the dry fibers to get the right moisture (not too dry or too wet)?
Thanks a lot 🙏
