Hi there
My cleaner was a stand alone women who now had grown a business which is wonderful for her! That being said, quality has gone done since then.

Also since she’s gone into a full business is us needing to supply all cleaning supplies which is fine. Since then I’ve had cleaning supplies (not required by them) left behind. I leave them back out when they come and they take them back. No big deal. I just assume sometimes specific cleaners have preferences for products.

Now the issue.
I have had the issue the last 2 times of her employees taking some of my things. I understand stand she isn’t always the one here but it’s now her business. First it was my long swifter duster pole. I texted her next day and she said at first they would drop it off soon (she’s not local to my exact town just serviced it) but then said she would have it brought next clean after I followed up a second time. She didn’t bring it. The next clean it was when my wall cleaner and window cleaner went missing when I know for a fact they weren’t almost used up or anything. They also left behind a cleaner I already had which just then further my confusion on why they were bringing stuff we were asked to have. I texted her and waited over 24hours to not get a response about the swifter (which we already talked about) and then added in the 2 missing products and questioned of if we are still suppose to supply supplies and if so can we find a way to keep my things at my house. Am I a jerk for being mad about this? We were asked to supply our own products but stuff it being taken we were asked to supply. It took me texting her after a full business day had passed to get a response.

Location: Michigan

I got married 6/20 and just am looking to see if anyone has had a similar issue.

We were recommended by a wedding planner to a officiant as we didn’t have one. Wedding planner has never worked with her before, important to note.

Prior to wedding:
- had meeting to meet each other, she asked us questions, sent us a questionnaire. Said she would use it to make a script
- said during meeting she would have it to us in a few weeks (she didn’t)
- may 1 said she would have the script to us by end of week. Didn’t. I waited
- June 1 I reached out asking, she said she hadn’t forgot and would get it to us soon.
- we got it the week of wedding. Nothing special, just copy and pasted what we said in the Google doc into what I imagine was a premade script

Wedding day:
I am in a different room when she arrives. I do not see her until i am at the alter.
Prior to ceremony the following happened as reported by my bridal party and family
- freaked out due to not having 2 copies of marriage certificate. She said we needed the one for her to file and the keepsake one in addition to the practice one we had (I was only given one to file and a practice)
- she stated multiple times she was not comfortable doing the ceremony due to this and didn’t want to
- she told my MOH this didn’t concern her and wasn’t relevant to her.
- told my parents and bridal party and wedding planners this was not right
- my photographer said he would marry us (he is ordained) and that is when she stopped complaining and did it anyways

After ceremony:
- made a comment as we were signing she will need a photo for her records since we didn’t obtain the proper things… I was confused because I brought the entire folder from the clerks office

I turned it in the following Monday… no issues as all. They didn’t seem to know what she’s talking about when I asked the desk person about it.

Any ideas on what she was on about?
