An apology to FunFitLand

This apology will mean nothing, really, since I've only criticized this app in my own head!

When I first got my Quest 3 about a year and a half ago, I tried all the fitness apps and thought FFL was the worst of the ones in its category (Supernatural, FitXR, FFL, basically).

But boy they have improved it so much since the last time I tried it, and it's so much better, and I actually sweat. It has now bumped FitXR down to the bottom and will be getting that portion of my moneyz.

So in case you're like me and haven't tried it out in a long time and are getting bored, you might want to revisit.

I feel like a pimp

I have a romance sim whose lifetime want is woohoo with 20 different sims. I have never tried to fulfill this want before but I am trying. I have to literally track her conquests in a notebook. I’ve already had her drink the green rejuvenation juice a bunch of times to add enough days to her life to get this done with no cheats. I am going to need her to pick up townies or she is going to ruin every marriage I have going. 😓

If Sims 2 is hustle culture, Paralives is a socialist utopia

Like, home goods are actually affordable, you don't have to own property to survive, and work hours are reasonable.

(That being said, the friction and pressure applied by Sims 2 life is part of what makes the game work, so maybe there's a happy medium to be found...)

Falling back in love with my A6X

I’ve had this more or less since it came out. Since then, I’ve bought many devices from the biggest competitors, but lately I’ve been back on the SN and I just…I don’t know, the performance of the eink and just the right amount of features…it’s still the champ. And there is just no comparison between the SN development team and the others as far as continually improving in ways that show they understand their product and users. I almost sold this once! Am so glad I didn’t.
