Seriously what is going on with Abri

They seem to be letting go of a lot of family-sized properties to auction for unknown reasons! Is there some hidden agenda? First, it started out with that family in Aysgarth, and they are selling so many of their places. The state of the housing list, they should be working on improving them to reduce the list, investing in the little stock they already have rather than just removing it altogether.

Worst work shift

I have had a very bad 7 hour shift... I work 15 hours a week and it is a temporary job for 5 months (until Sept 20) and I think I have annoyed the colleague I closed the shop with. It started when I started pick up (this is where I have to remove all the tenners and scores that total £100 out of the till) and I put them into a pot, then put them down the safe but forgot to log it on the system and confirm - I reported on the till how much I put away but had forgotten to say how much was in the pot - so my colleague sees this and thinks I don't know what I am doing. I also accidentally forgot to print someone else's receipt when they dropped off an InPost parcel, and (my colleague) thought I was being too quiet or something. I did genuinely know about the pickup, but the only reason I forgot to finalise it was because I was dealing with another customer who kept hounding me for cigarettes and then someone who wanted about 5 evri parcels delivered. Then, when I cashed up, it turns out there is £30 less than what should be there. I had reported how much I had put away down the safe but I am worried that I will face a disciplinary and get fired because it has happened before with about £7 less, then on Sunday somehow I got £37+ (But a lot of people said they weren't bothered about the change that shift). I really need this job especially for uni. Will I get in trouble? Will I have to pay the money back, could they dock my pay?

Worst shift ever

I have had a very bad 7 hour shift at one stop... I work 15 hours a week and it is a temporary job for 5 months (until Sept 20) and I think I have annoyed the colleague I closed the shop with. Any learners feeling good about booking their test now?

As of today, it is illegal for anyone other than a learner to manage their own driving test - meaning resellers are out of business. This is to combat bots taking up slots and them going to more genuine users instead. Hopefully that reduces the backlog for learners and the problem will be a lot closer to getting solved.

Phones on shop floor

Asking for a friend who works at one stop. They may have been caught checking the store group chat whilst the shop was quiet on the shop floor, in search for extra work at the other branch down the road. They are temporary for 5 months and are worried that they will fail their probation. Is it that bad, what will happen? As long as they don’t do it again and leave their phone in the back it should be all good right?
