Tabasco crossed with ghost pepper

By far my most exiting pepper of the year. This was an accidental but definitely a welcomed cross from a ghost pepper plant and a Tabasco pepper plant that were side by side last year. I planted the seeds from a ghost pepper and thought I was growing some ghosts until the peppers started growing upright on the plant. They taste like Tabasco peppers but burn a lot more, not quite ghost pepper levels of hot though, but close.

The Tabasghost. I love these

Why do people always talk about wide right 1 as if it cost FSU a championship when they lost to Florida the very next game?

Wide right 2 absolutely cost FSU a championship, but wide right 1 was just one of two losses.

What other player during Jordan’s era do you think he could have won 6 rings with?

Replace Pippen with another player who you think Jordan would win at least 6 rings with. I’d say Barkley, Alonzo Mourning, and Penny if he could stay healthy. Just to name a few outside of the obvious like Shaq or Hakeem

Chocolate bhutla crossed with Carolina reaper

I’m a little nervous to try this one. It’s a surprisingly productive plant. I wasn’t sure if I would get red pods or chocolate. This is the only one that’s ripe so far, and honestly it could use another day of ripening

Thai Kali mirch

Have any of you ever grown these ? I got them as a gift with some other seeds that I ordered. They are very productive plants. Beautiful purple flowers, leaves, and peppers. I’m curious about how they taste. Mine are not ripe yet.

Did any of you ever play Terminator for MD DOS ?

*MS* DOS… This game was like GTA before GTA was even a thought. It could definitely use a modern remake while keeping the original idea. For those who don’t know it was an open world game where you could play as either the terminator or Kyle Reese and had to hunt or protect Sarah. You could take any vehicle you wanted, steal from stores, loot a military base, blow up houses, shoot it out with the police. It was really ahead of its time while being shackled by the technology of its time.

Ice episode

I love X Files, watched it from the pilot episode in 93 up until season 6-7. I just started rewatching it on Hulu last week. As an adult you notice things that flew over your head as a kid.

The episode in season 1 called “Ice” has this scene where they are describing what the parasitic worms do to people. Scully says they burrow into the hypothalamus, to which a guy says “the hypothalamus secretes a hormone called acetylcholine which is responsible for violent and aggressive behavior’. This isn’t just wrong, it’s the complete opposite of what acetylcholine does.

Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter,( not a hormone) sent by the parasympathetic nervous system that hyper-polarizes the pacemaker cells in the heart therefore lowering the heart rate. It’s a rest and digest response. It’s the opposite of norepinephrine, which would have made more sense to use for this storyline. I can’t believe they just threw some nonsense out like that when Scully was supposed to be a medical doctor. Still a great episode though.

It’s becoming so frustrating to study with chat GPT anymore

My question -

So we have PH at 7.49
PACO2 is 42
HCO3 is 31
Is this uncompensated metabolic alkalosis?

Todd and Janelle deserved better

All they did was provide John with a good home in a nice neighborhood and he treated them like Sh!t … asking him to clean his room was not unreasonable yet Janelle gets disrespected in front of John’s friend. Todd calmly gets involved and he also gets disrespected as John just rides off on a dirt bike they most likely paid for.

It seemed like they cared about his well being when the T1000 cop showed up asking questions. Then they get murdered in cold blood just for being a good disguise.

I wonder how the conversation played out when Lloyd went back inside the bar.

He has a naked biker gang leader in his bar and now has to tell him that the guy who took his clothes just snatched a shotgun, his sunglasses, and took the motorcycle anyway.

Imagine a hostile, advanced alien civilization coming to attack earth and Skynet had already annihilated humans a while before. Skynet and the terminators immediately activate and engage. On one hand you could imagine Skynet being outmatched, but skynet could learn very quickly and figure them out. I would love to see this in an anime style like terminator zero.

I was only 7 when I saw it in theaters back then so I was too young to be aware of the marketing. Plus I hadn’t seen the first movie to even know what I was in for.

In retrospect it seems like it would be pretty obvious though. I’m not sure how they could have shown any scenes of the T-1000 in trailers without hinting at him being the bad guy. Sarah Connor tells us in the very beginning of T2 that there’s a protector. Even the bar scene makes it really obvious since he never kills anyone even after being burnt by a cigar, stabbed with a knife, and having guns pulled on him. In T1 he killed all 3 of the punks for simply pulling a knife out. Plus the “bad to the bone” song playing when he’s about to leave the bar makes it pretty obvious that he’s the one you’re supposed to like.

But like I said, I was too young at the time and I’m looking back at it with a different perspective.

I still love T2 as it was my introduction to the series. My friend’s mom took 7 year old me and him to the theatre in 1991 to see it and it was the greatest cinematic experience I have ever had in the theater. As an adult though I lean more towards T1 as my favorite. It lacks in budget and that definitely shows, but it makes up for it in raw, unfiltered delivery.

The terminator was just a badass killing machine and wiped out an entire police station, and took out multiple other people who stood in his way. It had a real horror feel to it. I have nothing bad to say about T2 at all, but I love how T1 never held back.
