People who have improved their gut health, please help!

So I am 43, and I have IBS. I have bloating issues whenever I eat particular foods. I have identified them and are aware of them, but once in a while, even water seems to cause bloating issues. I don't know if you have been there, but please help me with a routine.

I know kombucha, kefir, greek yogurt are great.

I know protein is required for my health. Chicken, fish, shrimp all helps.

I have to take protein powder along with fruits to help increase my protein intake.

I know fiber is required.

So all these information is there on the net. But how do you guys cure your gut health?

Did you take kefir everyday in breakfast?

Did you have to take less quantity of protein or protein powder that helped?

Did spicy food or paprika cause bloating for you? If so did you avoid it entirely?

What's your routine like?

Whatever advice you could give me, please share!

Curious - why the hate?

I don't follow her but have been seeing a lot of hate for her in this community. But I checked her Insta page and its filled with fans and fan club comments... Genuinely curious, is there any reason for the hate? How is that she has so many followers when there is so much hate?

Plantar Fasciitis flare up

I have had PF for about 7 years. So far the pain had been manageable if I wore soft supportive sandals inside the house and supportive shoes outside.

But the pain I am in now is unbearable!

I had been walking a lot more than usual (on a worn out shoe which I later realized) leading upto the pain. I was thinking of buying either Adrenaline gts 25 or Ghost max earlier, but the pain was too much than Bondi 9 was the one that felt relieved the pain a lil better. I am still not able to walk more than a few steps on Bondi inside the house :(.

People who have had flare ups, how long does it take to come back to a bearable kind of PF?

I have been massaging my feet, doing calf stretches but nothing seems to help.

I am resting my feet most of the time but I read that also will not heal PF and may exacerbate the condition. Is that right??

I have bought a slant board too but my pain is too much that I am scared to use it as it might cause micro tears, if at all thats possible.

And I have also noticed my balls of the feet and knees becoming painful as well.. not sure whether its due to Bondi 9 shoe issues or bcas I am putting more load on the front and it changed my gait. Were your pain only in the heels or all over like me?

Does taking naproxin or ibuprofen help at all?

Everyone seems to pinpoint weight as the reason, have anyone of you felt it seems to go away after weight loss?

Should I rest? Should I go to a podiatrist after referral? I want to go back to being normal again, but during this flare up, will naproxin and then strength training calf help?

I know I have asked so many questions but I am over my head now researching and reading about PF!! If you have advice or tips please help.

Thanks!

Confusing what to believe and who to root for!

Some youtube channels like Arasiyal Sadhurangam or Vikatan seem to show Vijay is a good way and others like Peralai, the debate talk about how Vijay's politics is nothing different (no maatram) , and the things they are doing wrong.

Few others like Koteeswaran sometimes highlight good ministers in his cabinet and also talk about horsetrading which Arasiyal Sadurangam or Vikatan doesn't.

Arapor only has few videos and they only talk abiut corruption in dmk and how tvk is cleaning it. I think this channel doesn't do any day to day activities kind.

I understand nobody is fully neutral. But it is annoying to not really the whole truth. How do you guys manage?

I don't want to be in an echo chamber. I like dmk ideology but I would like to know if vijay is really doing anything good. Like the bus in Coimbatore, I was really happy to see that. Vanni arasu made it happen or whoever it was, I am happy for the people. When I initially saw the video I wasn't sure at all it was fake new ir whether it had already been done or whether it was an old video. It is that confusing!

My time is spent watching different channels, insta, reddit and ai to analyse the truth. Which I am tired of doing all the time.

Is it just me? How do you guys handle this?

What channels do you watch?

How to know it is fake or real?

Are you comfortable living in an echo chamber or willing to listen to other videos however uncomfortable it might be for you? (I have been there!)

What is with Latha Rajnikanth starting the Citizens movement?

Do you think this has something to do with Annamalai entering TN? Or opposing TVK?

And how come Latha and not Rajni?

I hate DMK's corruption. But I hate Vijay's masked face more. What do you think TVK's future?

Currently whether TVK supporters agree or not, Vijay's governance is lame. Because he is inexperienced. But after 5 years, I think he would definitely be better. And his stature amongst his fans would have grown even more.

There is no way DMK can come back again. I do feel sad not for Stalin but for what DMK stood and what it has become now. It deserves this failure no doubt. But it deserves a chance to fight and come back, which I think will not happen. That is what is making me sad.

Do you think the same - that TVK will definitely improve in 5 years and become invincible?

Smoky Mountains - first timer. Advice appreciated!

We are a family of 4(3 people plus 1 dog). Planning a trip to the Smoky Mountains last week of May, for 4 days . I saw all travel videos on youtube, on places to cover. So kinda have a rough idea like Anakeesta, Skypark etc.

Can you guys give recommendations and other tips or helpful advice that would help us love our trip? Any nice trails? Not so isolated, as we are beginners to hiking and safe (6miles at the most).

The worst thing is it shows rains are expected the days we are there. Don't know what to expect but our stay is confirmed. So would love to hear your thoughts and recos!
