Thoughts? 30M, noticed this about my hairline for the first time today.

I don’t usually wear my hair back, so I didn’t notice this bite into my hairline before. Now I’m wondering: beginning male pattern baldness?? I’m 30/M and my hairline up in the corner used to be quite square in my memory. Would like to know if I’m just being paranoid or if this is early developing hair loss. Thanks!

About to take my first steps into the hobby!

Got inspired when I stumbled over this sub and decided to give this cool new thing a try. Put together this kit over the last few days with some fineliners and colored markers for the map, and built a basic rule deck start with; I’ve still got plenty of cards left over to expand where necessary.

I’m gonna go for an ecumenopolis, or a world-city, in a cyberpunk style. I think it’s gonna look really awesome and be a lot of fun to mess around with. Can’t wait to get started!

[30/M] from the Netherlands looking for handwritten letters

Hi everyone,

I'm 30/M from the Netherlands and I am looking for long-term snailmail penpals; handwritten letters, real conversation about daily life and shared interests. My hope is to meet people I can build a real friendship with and with whom I can maintain long-term communication via letter-writing.

I care much more about the actual content of the letters than extra's like stickers and washi tape, etc. My letters will be handwritten in good ink on nice paper, but will likely not be covered in stickers or doodles.

I enjoy reading (mostly fiction, but occasionally non-fiction as well) and journaling, and write fiction in my free time. I enjoy fountain pens and maintain a small collection. I also play a lot of video games with a strong preference for story-driven single-player games. Occasionally I like to enjoy some cross-stitch embroidery. I like going outside for a walk or hike when I can and I go to the gym on a regular basis.

Recently I've developed a fascination with Canada, so if there are any Canadians out there looking for a penpal, I'm very much interested. Of course, that's not a requirement; anyone is welcome from all over the world! I'd love to discuss books and games and just about anything else.

I am fluent in Dutch and English, and know a small smattering of German and a tiny bit of French and Spanish, but am willing to learn to read and write in an additional language if need be. Please just be patient with me; I will not be able to read and respond to full letters in other languages immediately, since I would have to pick up an entirely new language for it. I would, however, be happy to consider it a shared project.

For those who share the inclination, I am also very much interested in a fictional, letter-based exchange, in which we would both create a character from whose point of view we'd write to the other character. This is quite new to me, so it's okay if it's new to you as well. I am open to a variety of settings and storylines, but would prefer someone who is looking for a long-term project as I am.

In either case, I'd prefer people around my own age or older (min. 25, no maximum age); please do not message me if you are under 18. I do not wish to exchange information with minors.

Please message me here on Reddit if you are interested in either a standard letter exchange, or a fictional letter exchange! We can chat for a bit to see if we get along. Thanks!

Lulu PoD hardcover linen wrap - good quality cover?

I am looking at the possibilities of getting a clothbound hardcover printed. I see that Lulu offers this as an option and for a good price, but I have never used their services before. Are their linen wrap hardcovers of good quality? I am looking for something that will look nice on the shelf but also feels good in the hand, and doesn’t fall apart easily. Anyone with experience, please let me know.
