Any cdrama that has a green flag male lead like Sang Yan (The First Frost)?

I’m currently watching TFF and fell in love with Sang Yan.

This man is clearly a fictional character. 😭 I mean, “HOW IS THIS MAN THIS IN LOVE WITH HER???”

He’s just mature enough to go “My feelings are mine. I don’t need to force you to respond to them.”

LIKE???? SIR???? WHO RAISED YOU????? 😩

I want to watch another drama like this one. Please recommend 😭

Edit: I’ve already watched POJ, When I Fly Towards You, and Twelve Letters. I tried Hidden Love but I couldn’t finish it :(

2nd edit: Sorry, I forgot to add that I’ve also watched The Best Thing and it’s good!!

I just finished Twelve Letters and I need some light dramas 😭

Sorry but I’m new to cdrama. I just finished POJ, The Best Thing, WIFTY, and just recently Twelve Letters. It’s my fault I got obsessed with Zhou Yiran. Twelve Letters was so freaking good but very heavy. Now I want something light 😭

I started Hidden Love and I’m on episode 10 but… I don’t feel it 😩

Any recommendations please?

Unfollowing anxiety-inducing subs improved my mental mealth

One of the best decisions I’ve made recently was unfollowing subs that constantly gave me anxiety.

I live abroad and I don’t use fb, ig, or twitter/X anymore. Reddit is pretty much the only social media I use. Before, I mostly joined general subs and avoided specific Pinoy subs. But last year, reddit started suggesting subs like ChikaPH, Pinoy, and other ph-related communities on my feed. At first I thought why not since I barely keep up with news from pinas anyway. I don’t watch news that much, and news posts are banned on fb here, so even my husband (he uses fb) only hears updates from family members.

But honestly, joining those subs turned out to be a bad decision for my mental health. It felt like every scroll was another thing to be anxious, angry, or hopeless about. Politics, crime, and corruption.. it became too much. I already intentionally filter the kind of information I consume every day because I know how badly constant negativity affects me.

Years ago, I read a reddit post that said: “No human has the physical and mental resources to care about every problem in the world.”

And another comment: “There’s always gonna be something to be outraged by, and if you constantly feel like you need to care about everything wrong in the world, you’re always going to be miserable.”

Those words really stayed with me. I still read some news. I still want to stay informed somehow. But at this point in my life, I choose peace over fear and constant outrage. My life is not perfect and I have other personal things to worry about :(

So I started unfollowing subs that triggered my anxiety, not just pinoy subs, but anything that made me feel emotionally drained after scrolling. Or kung may post man na sobrang nega, I ignore it na lang. Then I started following all cat subs instead, and some wholesome communities such as MadeMeSmile. And I honestly feel lighter now. I also limit my time on the internet to read books instead.

I just wanted to get this off my chest because everything has felt too heavy lately.

Your partner can either destroy your peace or protect it

Araw-araw talaga akong nagpapasalamat sa asawa ko. We’ve been together for 10 years, married for 7, pero hanggang ngayon he still opens the car door for me, cooks for me, and massages my arms every day (because I have tendinitis)

We support each other in everything. Gamer siya, so I always let him enjoy his games. I even gifted him a Nintendo Switch, gaming laptop, Quest 3, and recently a PS5 kasi gusto ko issuport hobbies niya. Kapag gusto ko minsan ng quality time, nanonood siya ng kdrama with me🥹

Hindi perfect ang buhay namin, pero I feel safe, loved, and respected every single day.

Recently kasi ang dami kong napapanood na stories about cheating, manipulation, domestic violence, and toxic relationships. Ang sakit isipin na may mga taong takot umuwi sa sarili nilang bahay o partner nila mismo yung dahilan ng anxiety at trauma nila.

Iba talaga epekto ng tamang partner sa mental health mo. Kahit magulo yung mundo, the right person will make life feel softer, safer, and lighter. Hindi mo kailangang mabuhay in survival mode all the time.

Everyone deserves a love that feels peaceful, not painful.
