New Plex interface is annoying

Sure I'm resistant to change, but IMO the new interface is tedious and nonsensical.

Just my 2 cents.

ETA: Yesterday it was as it's been (left side library folders). Today it took 5 minutes to realize I had to choose "Browse" to find my actual library, not just the recent additions.

Honestly, if you haven't researched Quasimodo and Greek gods while writing your outline, are you even a writer?

I'm trying something new and outlining my story before just randomly throwing words on the page (like my last WIP). So far, I'm on chapter 10, and in the last 10 minutes, I've looked up if Quasimodo had a limp (he didn't), and who the 'hottest' male god was.

Writing is weird, researching is weirder. What's the strangest thing(s) you've researched while writing?

Back to the outline...

I'm looking for the 1940 California Census for the above person.

Samuel C (Sr) was born Nov 12, 1921, Chickasa, Grady, Oklahoma, to Samuel Bartlet Swanson and Cecile Marie Ford. He married Thea Queen Shore Feb 28, 1942, in Maywood, California. I have the 1930 census for him (Oklahoma) with his parents, and the 1950 census (California) with kids.

His WWII Draft card and his marriage application (1942) both show the address of 155 East 55th St, Long Beach, so that's what I used to look up his ED -- I used the Stephen Morse ED finder and looked through 59-133A, 59-133B, 59-134, 59-141, 59-142 records. Found Swansons, but NOT MINE. I don't see him with parents in 1940 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K946-4TD

I've also tried the records search in FS, and looked through the National Archives.

Any help is appreciated.
