Anyone secretly looking forward to Autumn?
I don't know about you but I can't remember a summer as hot as this one apart from maybe a few days it's been non stop hot weather for two months

Growing up (I'm 38) I knew nearly everyone who lived in my street but I have no idea of the names of the people who live beside me now
Northerners are generally seen as friendlier and more warmer than southerners but I think it's changed from a few years ago
I'm talking about a place that in the next decade will get a lot more investment and will just be seen as the place to be
I use to live in Sheffield and thought it had a lot of potential to grow its not far from the peak district and close to Leeds, Manchester and parts of the midlands
I had a very random conversation with an American colleague who asked why are the majority of men in the UK uncut I was rather shocked by the question and just said its not the culture here
It says on Wikipedia that 15% of UK men are circumcised which seemed a lot to me. It's practiced in Jewish and Muslim faith but they are not 15% of the population globally its around 40%
It seems everything good that happens in the North has to be in Manchester. I live in Scotland so am neutral but why not have "Number 10 in the North" in Leeds or Sheffield for example
Manchester has had plenty of investment over the years and fair play to them but them becoming a Northern London is not the answer
Andy Burnham will become Prime Minister on Monday we can argue if he is Scouse but he was born and lived here for a year and has always had that connection
How will it effect Liverpool? What would you like to see him do?
