I have recently picked up a GHK G5 for around 50 quid, coming with an extended inner barrel and an Airtac HPA conversion that sits in the mag well. Does anyone know what to look for and if this specific system takes upgrades well and if so, what should I be looking for?

I have just picked up a secondhand GHK G5 for around 50 quid. It has an extended barrel that I'm hoping to either cover or replace with a shorter variant, and has one of the Airtac HPA conversions that sit in the magazine well. Does anyone know of any potential problems with this system and if it requires specific parts, or are they generally universal?
Looking at picking one of these up, specifically the G13V so I can mock up an MG36.

Does anyone have one and how easy are they to upgrade/mod? I'd preferably like to use it as a support weapon, so I'd prefer to get a high rate of fire with .25/.28 BBS with comparable range to a high end AEG 50/60 metres.

What upgrades would people recommend, or would I be better with a different model?

Those that run either a DMR or Sniper and have to have a sidearm for when you're too close, what do you use? Looking for inspo!
