Chassis Aggregated Devices Ethernet

Chassis Aggregated Devices Ethernet

Hey all, I wanted to ask about a config knob, the one that makes up the subject line.

For clarification, I'm hoping to find out what it's actually used for.

I ask this because at our primary HQ, I'm working on some issues with the LACP link back to our core switch from the 5-member access chassis in the MDF.

We have 10g multimode links using identical SFPs, Patches, Etc between the two.

The Core switch seems to be killing the link on xe-0/2/0 of the access switch, I'm seeing on that side that the link is just going down and then coming back up. On the core side, I'm seeing the link timeout according to the mist switch insights, I'm also seeing these timeouts on other aggregate links as well. The one thing I noticed, is that on the core, the aggregated devices knob is not setup at all. Which is weird to me, because in my experience, I've always needed to add that to the config for LACP to work properly. Essentially, I want to fix these timeouts, because I think they are related to some end user issues, and complaints we gotten, but I don't want to break my network lol

Pricing today.

Admittedly, I've been out of the loop for a couple of years. My last bike was a 2019 canyon spectral AL

Great bike, but I sold it two years ago, because I had kids and wasn't riding as much, got a gravel bike, have put maybe like 30 total miles on the bike 😝.

At this point, I have some more time/better job, and want to get back into riding, but pricing is insane compared to what I recall.

I totally understand that inflation occurs and such, but I'm looking at 2017-2019 bikes that aren't even special, listed for $2500-3500.

My question is this, are we paying these prices for real, or should I be going with my gut and offering $1000-1200 to some of these jokers and see who bites?

In 2019, my spectral was a well built machine, I put 1200 miles on the bike in my last season around lake tahoe, sold it for a reasonable $1200 in 2024, I'' seeing the same bikes for over 2k at this point like wtf is happening lol

Pcap using wired assurance

Hi all,

I hope I'm not getting this wrong, I think I've already made sense of why it wouldn't work in my head but I just need some confirmation lol.

I just got the cloud X features enabled on our organizational tenant, and have been trying to run some packet captures on switch ports to see what kind of data I can pull.

One thing I've noticed is that I am only getting traffic associated with the management IRB, or LLDP.

Am I right to think that since everything is layer two up to the Palo Alto, that the packet captures on performing are essentially not going to pick anything up because it's all l2 ethernet frame traffic?

This kind of Does and doesn't make sense to me at the same time lol would I essentially need to have an irb gateway for every subnet I need individual switch in order to be able to take advantage of packet capture in the way that I'm thinking I could?

Residue on intake manifold

2012 gmc acadia, 3.6L v6

I'm not sure what this residue is, it's on the top of my intake manifold.

I'm about to start working on replacing my water pump, I noticed it's been weeping for a little over a week or two now so I've been topping off my coolant with regular orange dex.

It's pink and dried up which makes me think something like coolant but, I have no idea how coolant would get on top of the intake manifold like that.

My oil is clean, not milky or anything.

Any thoughts?

Hi all, I'm relatively new to managing chromebooks and have joined a hybrid org that has a majority of them.

I have some users that are going to be working out of non-managed locations and need to know if google has any form of native VPN client for these units that I can force via admin center.

I recall google having the google one VPN a while back that I used to take advantage of on my phone in the coffeeshops and such, is this still a feature for enterprise users and can I push that as a policy?

Thanks!
