Hyper Bullet add-ons

To those of you play Hyper Bullet, the rogue-like target shooter, I'm wondering if the add-ons, the shotgun and SMG are worth it. I have no interest in endless mode, since 15 waves is the perfect number in my opinion. Should I still get the bundle?

Thanks.

Double-binds

My mom has a habit of putting me in double-binds or "no-win" scenarios. Here are two examples.

First, we were watching a show as a family. I pulled up Amazon Prime and put on our current episode. Soon, my parents started insisting that I'd skipped an episode and told me to go back. I told them confidently that it's the right episode, and we argued briefly. I gave up and put on the previous episode (like they commanded). After a minute, they said, "We've seen this already" and then got mad at me. They acted like I misled them and said that I should have known better.

What drives me crazy about this is how they demanded my obedience, then criticized me for being obedient. My mom claimed authority to give me a command, then resigned that authority so she could blame me.

Second, my mom and I were making hot spiced wine and the instructions called for orange peel. My mom placed orange slices into the pot, and I objected, saying it would be overpowering. She ignored my warning, and we carried on. When we tried to final product, we both noticed the orange flavor was too intense, so my mom asked me, "Will you add so many oranges the next time?"

Basically, she can't handle being wrong, so she puts her wrongness on me. She treats me like an emotional trash can where she dumps embarrassment and other emotions she can't handle.

After they got mad at me for obeying them about the TV show, I didn't say anything but I thought "Wow that's a new height." This pattern has been going on for decades but I needed a big, obvious moment like that before I could see it clearly.

How many of you can relate? Does your nmom ever punish you for being assertive, then punish you for being obedient? Does she give you a command, then blame you for the results?

I've noticed that I'm subconsciously looking for nurturing mother-figures. My job is in theater, and I work closely with the director. I've met a couple of female directors that I... it's hard to describe. I've met with them outside of work for lunch, and I see them as a mother-figure partially. But my trust issues make it complicated.

Anyone else feel this yearning for a positive mother-figure?
