Lumix Latin America Instagram announcement for new gear on October 5th?

Posted 15 hours ago on the Lumix LATAM Instagram page.
October 5th, an announcement will be made for the 25th anniversary.

Image translated says “you’ll come to understand it, and you’ll like it”

Lumix marketing is so weird. I pointed out the return of several lenses through an announcement on the Lumix Japan Instagram page. Neither of these things have been posted to the English Lumix Instagram page.

Edit: Someone pointed out this was posted as a comment under that rumor post with the AI Image. I purposefully ignored it because it looked so fake, but I'll still leave this up for those that also skipped that post and didn't look through all the comments.

Lumix re-releasing the 12-60 2.8-4, 42.5 f1.7, 25 f1.4, and 70-200 f4 on September 16th.

From LumixJapan’s Instagram, they posted that these “new” lenses are coming.

At least looking at the 12-60 page, it seems like they improved the accuracy down to microns (1/1000th of 1mm). Thats language I don’t see on the previous product page.

I’m guessing these are improvements to work with PDAF better?
