Arbutus unedo selection program - looking for great seedlings

I think arbutus unedo has a lot of potential. It fruits in November. It's evergreen. But the average fruit is not incredible... BUT I already tasted very good fruits from a plant that was hacked to a single branch. What this told me is that it has the potential to be a great fruit tree!

I want to develop high quality cultivars. For this I want to start from a few high quality seedlings and cross them, get few hundred seedlings from them. And hopefully few will be very interesting.

So this is my call to you guys : do any of you know of a great arbutus seedling around your home?

We dumped grape seeds there for years. And now after a heavy rain they all sprouted

How many mangos can this tree support?

I know for many the answer would be "none to help tree grow. But I'm in France and the tree is in a container (and will always be). So promoting growth is not my goal. I even want to slow down growth so that it does not overgrow the pot. So the question is how many mangos can it support max? It's a nam dok mai
